DTF stands for Direct-to-Film: it's a printing technology where designs are printed onto a special film, then heat-transferred onto fabric or other surfaces like wood and cardboard.

The process:

Design is printed on a special film with a powder adhesive

Film is placed on the fabric/surface

Heat and pressure are applied (usually with a heat press or household iron)

Film is peeled away, leaving the vibrant design permanently transferred
