The Story Behind Dollbelge's Premium Double Gauze Fabric

Some fabrics are simply found. This one was dreamed into existence.

Viktoriya and Daniela had a wish: a double gauze that carried all the whisper-soft magic the fabric is known for, but came alive with the sharp, luminous prints that are unmistakably Dollbelge. A summer fabric that feels like a gentle breeze and looks like it was painted by hand.

But beautiful dreams have practical demands. A double gauze worth making — and worth wearing — needs to hold its width after washing, to be truly useful for dresses, gathered skirts, and all the creations it inspires. And width matters more than you might think — most double gauze in the world arrives at just 140 to 145 cm, often just too narrow for a dress in a single length, forcing you to buy and join two lengths instead. So they worked until every detail was just right.

The result is something a little enchanted. Dollbelge Premium Double Gauze arrives at 160 cm wide — generous enough that one length is all you need — and after a gentle 30°C wash and drying in open air it stays exactly that — folds, drape, and all, unchanged. The prints are crisp and vivid, the hand is cloud-soft, and not a centimetre is lost.
